MSC Cruises has announced the deployment of MSC Opera to the Canary Islands for the winter season of 2024-25, with sales now open to the public.
Operating 7-night itineraries from November 3, 2024, to March 16, 2025, MSC Opera will navigate through 6 ports of call. Departing from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the ship will visit Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, Puerto del Rosario in Fuerteventura, Funchal in Madeira, Santa Cruz de la Palma in La Palma, and Arrecife in Lanzarote before returning to Tenerife.
The new itinerary introduces flexible embarkation options, allowing passengers to board in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Sundays, Las Palmas on Mondays, Madeira (Funchal) on Thursdays or Fridays, and Arrecife on Saturdays.
Featuring extended stays in ports, the itinerary provides holidaymakers with ample time, up to 16 hours, to explore each destination's vibrant offerings.
The Canary Islands and the Portuguese island of Madeira offer guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in rich cultures, stunning landscapes, and captivating attractions while enjoying the warm climate ideal for sightseeing and basking in the sun.
Given the popularity of the Canary Islands and Madeira as warm-weather destinations in the winter, the new program is easily accessible with regular international flights to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Madeira, and Lanzarote.
This new itinerary replaces MSC Opera's previously planned Red Sea winter 2024-2025 program, which has been canceled due to current crisis in that region.
