Riviera River Cruises UK (fleet) has unveiled the inaugural itinerary programs for its two forthcoming riverboats, Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, scheduled to set sail in 2025.
The 178-guest Riviera Radiance will offer 6 distinct voyages on the Danube, boasting 35 departures throughout the season. Among these, an 8-day Blue Danube itinerary stands out, traversing Vienna, Durnstein, Budapest, and Bratislava. Scheduled from April to October 2025, prices for this voyage start at GBP 1,849 per person.
Additionally, the vessel will embark on a 15-day Budapest to the Black Sea cruise, featuring guided tours of Veliko Tarnovo, Arbanassi, the Churches of Ivanovo, Belogradchik Rock, and Mesolithic Lepenski Vir. Departures for this itinerary are slated for May, June, and September 2025, with prices starting from GBP 3,999 per person.
On the other hand, the 114-guest Riviera Rose will navigate the Douro River, offering a "Highlights of the Douro Valley and Salamanca Cruise". Thirty departures are available, with the maiden voyage scheduled for April 1, 2025.
The 8-day cruise encompasses tours of Porto's old town, Mateus Palace, and Castelo Rodrigo, as well as port tastings and a stop in Salamanca. Prices for this voyage start from GBP 2,099 per person. Itineraries for both ships will be open for booking starting from February 29, 2024.
Notably, the launches of Radiance and Rose in March and April 2025, respectively, will mark several milestones for Riviera Travel, including the incorporation of the Riviera name on their bows.
