In Cadiz Spain, preparations are underway for Carnival Firenze's debut under the Panama registry.
Under the "COSTA by CARNIVAL" brand, the vessel (IMO number 9801691) is now Panama-flagged (MMSI 352003546) and registered in Colon.
Note: Costa Firenze was Italy-flagged (MMSI 247431800) and registered in Genoa.
As part of this process, team members aboard the vessel raised the Panamanian flag, marking the official registration with Panama.
Joining the ranks of several sisterships also registered in Panama, Carnival Firenze is undergoing final touches in Cadiz before setting sail for California on March 22.
Upon arrival, she will operate out of Long Beach (Los Angeles CA) starting April 25, 2024, offering a variety of cruise options.
