MSC Cruises has introduced Cliffhanger Swing, an innovative over-water swing ride set to debut exclusively aboard MSC World America upon her inaugural voyage in April 2025.
Positioned atop the ship's Family Aventura district, Cliffhanger promises an exhilarating experience for thrill-seekers.
The swing features 4 seats initially positioned close to the deck, before powered arms elevate them out over the ship's edge. Riders are then propelled back and forth, soaring 164 ft (50 m) above the ocean's surface. This unique attraction offers guests a dynamic view of the surrounding seascape, providing an unforgettable sensation of wind and freedom.
As MSC's newest vessel World America will be named at PortMiami on April 9, 2025. The ship boasts seven distinct districts, each offering its own ambiance, amenities, and activities tailored to guests of all ages.
During its inaugural season, MSC World America will embark on 7-night Caribbean itineraries roundtrip from Miami, with stops at MSC's private island Ocean Cay (Bahamas).
Designed with environmental sustainability in mind, MSC World America operates on LNG fuel and incorporates renewable energy solutions. Smart technology optimizes energy and water consumption, while onboard recycling initiatives minimize waste. Additionally, the ship's innovative design reduces noise pollution and minimizes disruption to marine life.
World America's striking silhouette, characterized by its plumb bow and Y-shaped aft, will make a memorable impression against the Miami skyline. With its blend of American comfort and European sophistication, the ship promises a remarkable cruise experience for guests seeking relaxation or adventure.
Spanning 22 decks and with 2614 passenger staterooms, MSC World America offers a vast array of public spaces totaling more than 430,000 ft2 (40,000 m2).
