Aranui Cruises/fleet, renowned for its unique cargo cruise ship Aranui 5, has unveiled its new loyalty program, the 'Tiki Club,' as a gesture of appreciation to its returning passengers and to mark its 40th anniversary as a shipping company.
The loyalty program, applicable to cruises booked for travel from the beginning of 2025 onward, offers exclusive benefits to passengers exploring the remote French Polynesian islands of the Marquesas or the newly added cruise to the Austral Islands, known for their pristine beauty in the South Pacific.
With 4 tiers of rewards – Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Pearl – passengers can enjoy increasing discounts ranging from 5% to 12.5% on future cruises, as well as 20% to 25% discounts for onboard expenses. Additional perks include complimentary upgrades (subject to availability), wifi credits, free modifications to bookings, and a 'welcome back' cocktail with fellow Tiki Club members.
The club discounts apply to all returning guests regardless of their reservation type, whether booked directly with the company or through a travel agent.
While some passengers may prefer to revisit the mysterious beauty of The Marquesas, the newly added Austral Islands offer a fresh option. Located 300 miles south of Tahiti, these islands are seldom visited by most passenger cruise vessels, offering untouched landscapes ranging from sheer mountains to deep valleys.
Departing from homeport Papeete Tahiti on 3 dates during 2025: April 5-17, 2025; September 6-18, 2025; November 1-13, 2025.
The new 13-day itinerary will explore the 5 inhabited atolls in the Austral islands, with additional calls at the Society Islands of Raiatea and a day at Bora Bora.
In 2025, the 13-day Austral Islands cruise on Aranui 5 starts from EUR 5,281 per person. The price includes accommodation in a Double Stateroom with obstructed view (based on double occupancy), all meals (including wine with onboard meals), taxes, and scheduled excursions. International flights are excluded.
Alternatively, travelers returning to the Marquesas Islands can join one of the regular sailings, including a special cruise over Christmas 2025 to participate in the spectacular Marquesas Islands Arts Festival.
Club discounts will also apply to two early bird departures to the Marquesas Islands in 2025, offering a low season saving of 10% for the voyage from February 22 to March 5, 2025 (Voyage #1), and a 10% senior's discount for those aged 60+ on voyage #8 departing May 31 to June 11, 2025.
En route to the Marquesas, the cruise navigates through the Tuamotu archipelago with a stop at either the UNESCO 'biosphere reserve' of Fakarava or the flora and fauna-rich island of Kauehi, depending on the voyage.
In 2025, the 12-day Discover the Marquesas Cruise on board Aranui 5 starts from EUR 5,012 per person. The price includes accommodation in a Double Stateroom with obstructed view, all meals (including wine with onboard meals), taxes, and scheduled excursions. International flights are excluded.
