Riviera River Cruises’ MS Lord Byron sets sail with upgrades for 2024 season

Riviera River Cruises’ MS Lord Byron launched her 2024 season following extensive refurbishments to her public areas, cabins, and aft Bistro.

Originally constructed in 2013, the MS Lord Byron navigates the Rhone River in France. The recent upgrades include new furnishings throughout the ship's lounge, restaurants, and cabins, new carpeting. Notably, the stern restaurant underwent a complete redesign, complemented by a menu inspired by the bistros and brasseries along the Rhone, featuring a blend of classic and contemporary French cuisine.

Spanning 360 feet, the MS Lord Byron boasts amenities across 4 decks, including a sun deck with a splash pool and putting green, a panoramic observation lounge and bar, main and stern restaurants, and a spa and wellness area.

Accommodating up to 140 guests in 74 staterooms/cabins and suites, ranging from 161 to 242 square feet, the accommodations offer flexibility with double beds that convert to twins, along with amenities such as rain showers, flat-screen TVs, individually controlled air conditioning, coffee machines, and tea kettles.

Riviera River Cruises (Scylla Cruises' charterer) offers an array of itineraries across Europe, including specialized departures for solo travelers without additional fees, as well as themed and holiday season trips. Their cruises emphasize fine dining experiences, a complimentary drinks package, and expert-led excursions to both iconic landmarks and lesser-known gems. The fleet boasts spacious cabins and suites, ensuring a comfortable journey.
