Oceania Cruises has announced that its newest ship - Allura, will enter service a week earlier than initially scheduled.
Originally set to join the fleet in the summer of 2025, Allura’s inaugural voyage will now depart from Trieste Italy on July 18, 2025. The 6-day itinerary to Piraeus-Athens Greece will visit the Adriatic port cities Rijeka Croatia, Ravenna Italy, Dubrovnik Croatia; and Kotor Montenegro.
Additionally, Oceania is offering a unique 4-day voyage roundtrip from New York City in September 2025. Guests who were booked on the original inaugural voyage (scheduled for July 24, 2025) have been given priority access to book the new maiden sailing before it opened to the public.
Following her summer in the Mediterranean, Allura will transition to Canada and New England USA for a series of voyages before spending her winter season in the Caribbean, homeporting in Miami Florida. Oceania is also introducing a “Taste of Oceania Cruises” experience with a 4-day roundtrip from NYC (September 30 to October 4, 2025) aimed at new travelers looking to sample the line's ultra-premium vacation offerings.
The ship's culinary program will be under the direction of Oceania’s newly appointed Executive Culinary Directors, Chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale. They are collaborating with the culinary team to enhance the menus across all venues onboard Allura, with a particular emphasis on the new Creperie, a first for the brand.
Allura will be Oceania Cruises' 8th vessel and the 2nd ship in the 1,200-guest ALLURA Class, following her sistership, Vista, which launched in May 2023 to widespread acclaim.
