Carnival Radiance successfully responded to a USCG/Coast Guard distress call, rescuing 25 individuals stranded on a small boat off the Pacific coast of Mexico on Saturday, May 25.
While en route to Ensenada Mexico, Carnival Radiance received an urgent alert from the USCG regarding a small vessel in distress. The cruise ship promptly altered her course to reach the coordinates provided by the USCG.
The rescue operation was efficiently executed, and all 25 individuals, including 3 children, were safely brought aboard Carnival Radiance. The ship’s crew addressed immediate needs by providing food, water, and medical assistance, and arranged a rendezvous with Coast Guard officials for further support.
Departing from Long Beach (Los Angeles, California), on Friday for a 3-day Baja California cruise, Carnival Radiance continued her journey on schedule.
