Cordelia Cruises has announced the start of its summer sailings from Chennai (India), set to run from July 12 through September 9, 2024.
The company began its journey from Chennai in 2022 when Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated its maiden voyage, highlighting Chennai's growing status as a key player in India's cruise tourism sector.
In 2023, Union Minister for Port, Shipping, and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, emphasized Chennai's importance by initiating India's first international cruise to Sri Lanka from the city.
Key offerings for the 2024 Chennai sailings include:
- 2-night cruise: roundtrip from Chennai, at sea
- 5-night cruise: roundtrip from Chennai, at sea, Hambantota, Trincomalee, Jaffna.
