Princess Cruises has announced an extension of its itineraries in Japan for the 2025-2026 season, following a record-breaking number of U.S. visitors to Japan in 2023 and continued strong demand this year.
The Japan-built Diamond Princess will return with an expanded schedule, featuring Japan's fall foliage, Mt. Fuji, and Kyoto. The fall 2025 season will offer 11 voyages ranging from 9 to 22 days, visiting 25 destinations in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Highlights include:
- 13-day Circle Japan Fall Foliage sailing during the peak autumn season.
- 9-day Circle Japan voyage with stops in Nagasaki, Akita, and Sakaiminato.
- 9-day Southern Islands departure to Okinawa and Ishigaki.
- 10-day Kyushu & Korea cruise, including Hiroshima, Osaka (for Kyoto), and Shimizu (for Mt. Fuji).
Guests can combine select itineraries for an extended 40-day adventure. After the Japan season, Diamond Princess will sail to Singapore on a 12-day Southeast Asia & Japan cruise featuring Taipei (Keelung) and Hong Kong. This will precede 3 roundtrip Singapore sailings:
- A 14-day Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam cruise with stops in Phuket, Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), and Ho Chi Minh City (Phu My).
- A 16-day Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam cruise including Halong Bay and Hanoi.
- A 14-day Southeast Asia & Japan sailing from Singapore to Tokyo (Yokohama) with extended stays in Hong Kong and Shimizu (for Mt. Fuji).
