Following a recent dry dock refurbishment in Barcelona (Spain), Carnival Legend is set to commence her European summer sailing season, showcasing numerous enhancements and newly added spaces across her public areas.
Key upgrades include the introduction of the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a popular gathering spot for active-duty military personnel and veterans. This bar, now featured on 13 Carnival ships, displays authentic military memorabilia, with Carnival Legend's version highlighting the army boots of Deshauna Barber, godmother of Carnival Horizon and a captain in the US Army Reserve. Additional new features include the Chef’s Table (VIP dining experience), Dreams Studio (photo studio) and a dedicated space for Carnival Adventures.
The ship’s steakhouse has been revamped and renamed Fahrenheit 555, the casino has been expanded, and the spa has been rebranded as the Cloud 9 Spa & Fitness Center, which has received positive feedback fleet-wide. Retail shops have also been refreshed, and a new mini golf course has been added on the top deck.
For younger passengers, the youth program spaces, Circle C and Camp Ocean, have been updated.
Over the next 4 months, Carnival Legend will embark on 16x European cruises, departing from Barcelona, Dover-London UK, and Civitavecchia-Rome Italy. These itineraries will include visits to destinations across Spain and Portugal, the UK and Iceland, and Italy and Greece. In October, Carnival Legend will undertake a transatlantic Carnival Journeys cruise to its new homeport in Tampa Bay (Florida USA).
In the following year, Carnival Legend's sistership, Carnival Miracle, will take over the Europe season and introduce Lisbon (Portugal) as a new departure point.
