Emerald Cruises has unveiled new Caribbean itineraries for the superyacht Emerald Azzurra, scheduled for winter 2024-2025 season.
These routes will navigate lesser-known Caribbean destinations, including BVI's Jost van Dyke and Norman Island (in the British Virgin Islands), Montserrat, and Antigua. The voyages will span from St Thomas USVI or San Juan Puerto Rico to St John’s Antigua, providing convenient access for American tourists. Key features include overnight stays in St Barths and visits to the tranquil islands of Guadeloupe and Barbuda (Leeward Islands) crafted for travelers seeking distinct and unique locales.
This initiative is driven by the high demand for Caribbean sailings on the sistership Emerald Sakara, which is nearly at full capacity for the upcoming season. In response, Emerald has adjusted its offerings, bolstering its Caribbean program while strategically modifying its 2024-2025 Africa and Seychelles operations to ensure guest safety and satisfaction in light of evolving regional conditions.
The new Caribbean itineraries will run from December 7, 2024, to February 22, 2025. For those interested in extended voyages, there are options to combine itineraries into B2B cruises with minimal port repetition:
The 8-day “Caribbean Yachting Hideaways” provide an intimate exploration of the Caribbean’s smaller ports, highlighting the unique culture and relaxed lifestyle of island life.
The 8-day “Caribbean Yachting Discovery” voyages offer a genuine beach-hopping experience, with most days anchored, allowing guests to enjoy secluded beaches and serene swimming spots. A special New Year’s sailing, departing on December 28, will feature a festive New Year’s Eve celebration and a New Year’s Day brunch while anchored off St. Barths.
To mark the launch of these new sailings, Emerald is offering savings of up to US$4,000 per person on select Caribbean voyages in 2024-25.
