CCL-Carnival Cruise Line recently hosted travel advisors for an informative event focused on the forthcoming exclusive destination, Celebration Key.
The event, part of CCL’s "Your Peek at Paradise" summer series for travel advisors, commenced on Saturday, June 8th, in Miami, Florida. Hundreds of local travel advisors attended, receiving detailed insights into Celebration Key, a new destination currently under development on Grand Bahama Island. Scheduled to begin welcoming guests from July 2025,
Celebration Key aims to offer a blend of recreation and relaxation for Carnival passengers, with ships from 10 of Carnival’s USA homeports scheduled to visit.
During the event, travel advisors heard from Adolfo Perez and Glenn Aprile, Carnival’s senior director of brand experience and product development. Aprile provided an overview of the creative process behind the development of Celebration Key.
The event featured large renderings of Celebration Key and included elements of Bahamian culture, such as an authentic Junkanoo performance and Bahamas-inspired cuisine. Attendees received a 'Golden Key,' giving them a chance to win an early access trip to the destination before its public opening. Throughout the summer series, ten grand prize winners will be selected, with additional prizes including US$500 Carnival gift cards. The kickoff event saw the announcement of two grand prize winners and three gift card recipients.
In partnership with The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments, and Aviation, the series will continue with events in Baltimore MD, on July 13; Atlanta GA, on August 17; and Chicago IL, on September 14. A virtual event will also be held on September 14.
