HAL-Holland America Line has announced a collaboration with Lindt & Sprungli (USA), the creators of LINDOR truffles and the USA's leading premium chocolate brand, to enhance the onboard experience with a touch of chocolate elegance.
This partnership brings together two esteemed brands with rich European heritages, both dedicated to providing exceptional, meticulously crafted experiences aboard HAL's global fleet. The collaboration promises to enrich the cruising experience with specially curated chocolate offerings.
A highlight of this collaboration is the "Sweet Dreams" turndown service on Gala Night, where guests will find Lindt LINDOR milk chocolate truffles or Sea Salt milk chocolate truffles in their cabins, adding a luxurious touch to their evening.
Passengers will also enjoy Lindt chocolate desserts, including a tulip-shaped Lindt chocolate mousse cake, symbolizing Holland America Line's Dutch heritage. This dessert is currently available on the Rotterdam's Dutch Day dinner menu and will be offered fleetwide starting August 2024.
Starting in summer 2024, guests can indulge in a Lindt Sundae featuring vanilla ice cream with a custom-made Lindt chocolate sauce, and Lindt chocolate tulips will be served one night per cruise during the Dutch Day dinner menu.
In July 2024, to coincide with World Chocolate Day, HAL will introduce a Lindt Flourless Chocolate Cake, crafted in collaboration with Lindt's Master Chocolatier Ann Czaja. This cake will be available on the Dining Room menu for cruises over seven days and will be a centerpiece of the "Cake Me Away" program, a new onboard dessert event showcasing more than 22 five-layer cakes in 16 flavors.
