The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is deploying one luxury superyacht across the Pacific Ocean.
The new ultra-luxury travel brand has announced that its newest ship - Luminara, will commence voyages in the Asia-Pacific region at the end of 2025. From December 2025 to May 2026, Luminara will undertake 10 new voyages, enabling travelers to explore 10 countries, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and Thailand.
The itineraries range from 10 to 15 nights, with departures from Tokyo, Hong Kong, or Singapore. The ship will call at 28 ports, such as Hạlong Bay Vietnam and Puerto Princesa Philippines, as well as ports serving major cities like Seoul/Incheon, Osaka/Kobe, and Bangkok/Laem Chabang. The exotic journeys will offer tourists the opportunity to experience ancient landmarks, authentic cuisine, and other local attractions.
One example is the 14-night Singapore to Hong Kong voyage, which features a New Year's Eve celebration on the ship, an overnight in Bangkok, a land tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels (near Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City) and a visit to Hạlong Bay.
All itineraries offer group excursions, pre-designed private adventures, or custom private expeditions. Guests might go kiteboarding in the Philippines, enjoy street food in Thailand, or engage in white-water rafting in Malaysia.
Passengers will benefit from the personalized service that the Ritz-Carlton is known for. Luminara has 10 decks and can accommodate up to 452 guests in 226 staterooms. The luxurious vessel offers world-class dining, an extensive wine collection, a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa, and a marina with direct sea access. Like the fleetmates, Luminara boasts one of the industry's highest staff and space ratios.
Luminara is the third yacht to join the Ritz-Carlton fleet, following the smaller superyacht Evrima (launched in October 2022) and the superyacht Ilma (to be launched in September 2024). Luminara is scheduled to start revenue operations in July 2025, with a roundtrip from Civitavecchia-Rome before cruising the Mediterranean via Suez Canal to the Asia-Pacific.
Reservations for the Asia-Pacific itineraries are now open.
Luminara's inaugural season is in Europe/Mediterranean, starting with the 7-day Maiden Voyage from Barcelona to Civitavecchia-Rome (July 1, 2025).
The USA is included in the 16-day relocation voyage from Asia to Alaska (Tokyo to Seward) leaving on July 1st, 2025. For similar itineraries check RepositionCruises.com
