The UK-based Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has commenced its summer season in Scotland with the Balmoral ship embarking on its inaugural cruise from Rosyth/Edinburgh on June 27th. This 7-night voyage will explore the scenic Norwegian Fjords.

This summer, from June to August, Balmoral will visit additional destinations including the Baltic, Scottish Isles, Iceland, and Portugal's Azores.

In late August, the ship changes homeport to Newcastle/Port Tyne (England).

Onboard activities have been thoughtfully curated for guests, offering opportunities to observe marine wildlife in collaboration with conservation charity ORCA, sample authentic regional flavors from the various ports of call, and participate in stargazing sessions led by an astronomer.
