Authorities in Germany are currently searching for a 14-year-old autistic boy from the USA, Aydin Brown, who went missing at Port Warnemunde/Rostock. Aydin was last seen disembarking from the Caribbean Princess ship on July 4th, shortly after the vessel docked. Witnesses reported seeing the teenager leave the ship ~07:00 AM.
A public search was initiated following the report of his disappearance. Aydin is described as ~175 cm tall, with long dark hair. He was last seen in a dark jacket, long dark trousers, and retro shoes.
Police are now analyzing video footage from the port area to determine the direction Aydin took after disembarking.
Aydin was traveling with his grandmother, who also disembarked at Warnemunde with assistance from a Care Team.
Rostock Police are appealing to the public for any information that could help locate Aydin. Individuals with information are encouraged to contact the police station in Rostock-Lichtenhagen.
It remains unclear whether the boy left the ship on his own or if he was accompanied by his grandmother.
