GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Meghan Elizabeth Trainor has been appointed the Godmother of RCI-Royal Caribbean’s newest ship - Utopia of the Seas.
Trainor will mark her new role with a 3-night celebration starting July 15.
52 fans have a chance to join her by entering the "Utopia Giveaways" on Royal Caribbean’s Instagram from July 5 to 7.
The festivities will include a live performance by Meghan Trainor at CocoCay Bahamas and the ship’s naming ceremony, set to occur before the official debut on July 19th in Port Canaveral, Florida.
Royal Caribbean and Meghan Trainor will formally name Utopia OTS in a ceremony attended by the ship’s crew, media, partners, and the 52 giveaway winners. In her role as Godmother, Trainor will conduct the traditional maritime blessing, ensuring the vessel’s and its passengers’ safekeeping.
Following the naming ceremony, Trainor will perform an exclusive concert at the AquaTheater (aft on deck 6) and meet with fans.
