DCL-Disney Cruise Line has unveiled upcoming drydock refurbishment updates for the Disney Dream ship in 2024-Q3.

Key enhancements include revamped spaces for younger guests. The Oceaneer Club will introduce the new Marvel WEB (Worldwide Engineering Brigade) Workshop, where visitors can test suit prototypes for Spider-Man and other heroes, and engage in training simulations using WEB technology, with mentorship from Avengers.

The Edge tween club will feature new additions, including an outdoor deck with a ball pit and recreational games, a club lounge, and a dance floor.

The Funnel Suite is being transformed into the new ‘Dream Tower Suite,’ inspired by Sorcerer Mickey and themed to Fantasia. An expanded concierge lounge will be styled after Hercules and Mount Olympus.

The ship’s spa will see a refreshed check-in area and expanded treatment rooms. A new dining outlet on Deck 11 will offer a cantina serving tacos, burritos, and bowls.

Recently, DCL has also revealed new experiences for its latest ships Disney Adventure and Disney Treasure.

Disney Adventure will feature 7 themed zones with immersive experiences inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel, created in collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering. Highlights include a Moana-themed poolside retreat, an entertainment area inspired by Big Hero 6, and a Toy Story water play zone.

Disney Treasure will introduce an Aristocats-themed lounge and a Haunted Mansion bar. This ship is scheduled to set sail later this year, while the Disney Adventure will depart from Singapore in 2025, as part of a multi-year expansion of the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
