The 2024-relaunched (under A&K/Abercrombie & Kent) ultra-luxury travel brand Crystal Cruises is set to offer 2 wellness-themed sailings in December 2024, featuring an exclusive onboard program of dining and activities.

Crystal Symphony ship will embark on a 14-night voyage from Barcelona to Tema, Ghana, on December 1, with stops in Gibraltar, Morocco, Spain's Canary Islands, and Cape Verde Islands. Following this, the ship will sail from Tema on an 8-night voyage to Cape Town, South Africa, with a stop in Namibia and the same wellness programming.

During these cruises, guests can enjoy plant-based dishes curated by Crystal’s culinary team in collaboration with Dalila Roglieri, Crystal’s culinary nutritionist. A daily meal plan aimed at fat mass reduction will be available, featuring in-suite herbal tea and vegetable smoothies for intermittent fasting detox days.

Fitness programs will include strength and mobility training, spin sessions, posture workouts, aerobics, walking sessions, golf instruction, pickleball clinics, and dance classes. Daily yoga routines have also been designed for Crystal’s guests.

Brain exercise programs will feature bridge classes and painting lessons, while a digital detox program will encourage days without technology. Tailored beauty and health services will be offered at the Aurora Spa, including acupuncture, aromatherapy, aqua meditation, and cryo facials.

Keynote speakers will deliver lectures, including Minna McHale, a yoga teacher and movement and mobility instructor, Jenni Demus, a yoga and mental health specialist, and Dalila Roglieri, who will discuss her work on healthy food initiatives. Dr. Christine Houghton, founder of the Institute for Nutrigenomic Medicine, will introduce guests to clinical nutrigenomics, an approach to nutrition science.

Guests can also participate in wellness excursions focused on hikes, nature walks, Hammam packages, wellness cuisine cooking classes, and farm-to-table experiences.
