DCL-Disney Cruise Line will host a series of Christmas-themed voyages upon the return of its ship to Australia and New Zealand this year.
On select "Disney Magic at Sea" sailings from November 24 to January 3, 2025, the festivities will be in full swing.
These sailings offer an opportunity to establish new holiday traditions onboard. The special cruises will feature holiday-themed entertainment and festive decor in the atrium. Guests will have the chance to meet Disney characters in their holiday attire and participate in a tree lighting ceremony with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, a cherished Disney tradition.
This announcement follows DCL's plan to launch a new ship in Japan by early 2029. A sistership to Disney Wish ship, this new vessel will be the 9th in Disney's fleet.
The Disney Cruise Line fleet offers voyages to destinations including The Bahamas, the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, the South Pacific, and Australia and New Zealand. Year-round cruises from Singapore are also set to begin in 2025.
Additionally, Disney Cruise Line has confirmed a new season of voyages in Australia and New Zealand, sailing from October 2025 to February 2026.
