Marella Cruises UK has announced two new ports of call for the Marella Discovery ship, adding Isla Catalina/Dominicana and Ponce/Puerto Rico, starting from December 16, 2025. This marks the first time TUI-owned Marella will be visiting these destinations.
Marella’s winter 2025-26 itineraries are on sale as of July 18th, featuring 167 hotels available for cruise-and-stay guests, operated from 14 UK airports.
Marella Discovery's new call ports are part of the ‘Tropical Isles’ itinerary. Departing from La Romana (Dominicana), the voyage visits San Juan/Puerto Rico; Charlotte Amalie/St Thomas USVI; Fredriksted/St Croix USVI; Ponce/Puerto Rico, and Isla Catalina, then returns to homeport La Romana.
Additionally, starting January 8, 2026, the Marella Discovery 2 ship will embark on the ‘Exotic Islands’ itinerary, visiting Barbados, St Lucia, Aruba, Curacao, and Grenada.
New overnight stays are available onboard in Willemstad/Curacao, with Barbados cruise-and-hotel options at Hilton Barbados Resort (Needhams Point) and Radisson Aquatica (Hastings).
Marella's sister brand TUI River Cruises will offer new sailings on the Danube for winter 2025 and new 4-night shorter sailings.
Beginning November 2025, guests can sail the Danube on TUI Maya ship with 4- and 5-night itineraries available over Christmas and New Year. 4-night sailings will also be available on the boats TUI Isla and TUI Skyla on the Rhine, visiting Christmas markets.
The winter itineraries offer 15 sailings across the entire fleet. TUI's newest ship - TUI Al Horeya, starts operations in 2025 with Nile voyages available from November (2025). TUI's Egypt cruisetours are inclusive of flights (via TUI Airways) from London Gatwick Airport and Manchester Airport to Luxor/Egypt.
