Cruise Saudi has announced the renaming of its first vessel, now known as AROYA, operated by AROYA Cruises.
The name AROYA, derived from the words ‘Arabian’ and ‘Roya’ (meaning ‘vision’ or ‘dream’), reflects the brand's identity.
Dr. Joerg Rudolph, President of AROYA Cruises, expressed enthusiasm about the renaming, stating they are delighted to have officially renamed their first AROYA Cruises ship and are looking forward to the launch in December 2024.
The ship, which can accommodate 3,362 passengers, boasts 15 restaurants, 20 entertainment venues, a theatre, a swimming pool with a kid’s water park, and a spa. Accommodation options include Interior, Seaview, and Balcony cabins, as well as the luxurious Khuzama experience featuring Suites and Villas with VIP lounge access, a dedicated restaurant, and onboard butler service.
Currently undergoing extensive refurbishment, the ship will homeport in Jeddah and commence its operations around the Red Sea. Initial itineraries, ranging from 3 to 7 nights, will feature destinations such as a Saudi private island, Aqaba in Jordan, Sharm El Sheikh, and Ain Sokhna in Egypt.
