DCL-Disney Cruise Line has announced that its new heroes and villains-themed ship Disney Destiny will commence revenue operations in December 2025.

Introduced in March 2024, the Disney Destiny is the latest addition to the Triton class, joining the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. This vessel is inspired by the dynamic interplay of heroes and villains found in Disney stories, emphasizing the duality of light and dark forces driving characters to their destinies.

Throughout the voyage, passengers will encounter heroes and villains from beloved films such as The Lion King, Hercules, and One Hundred and One Dalmatians. The Disney Destiny is slated for delivery in 2025, marking a significant step in Disney Cruise Line's multi-year expansion plan.

This expansion includes the recently launched Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, the Disney Adventure ship (homeported in Singapore) and a new private island in the Bahamas - Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Additionally, Disney Cruise Line, in collaboration with Tokyo Disneyland operator Oriental Land Company, has revealed plans for a new ship to operate from Japan.

Disney plans to invest US$12 billion in new ships, as part of a broader US$60 billion investment in its parks, experiences, and products segment.
