German shipbuilder Meyer Werft floated out the Disney Treasure ship.
DCL/Disney Cruise Line's 144,000 GT vessel has exited the building dock/drydock and is now berthed in the harbor, where final interior outfitting will take place in preparation for its scheduled delivery later this year.
Disney Treasure is the second in a series of 4 WISH-class ships that Meyer Werft is constructing for Disney.
The vessel is designed to accommodate 4000 passengers in 1240 staterooms and is equipped with low-emission LNG propulsion, similar to the 2022-delivered sistership Disney Wish.
Meyer Werft Papenburg also constructed the smaller sisterships Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. The shipyard is also set to deliver a 3rd WISH-class unit - Disney Destiny, in 2025, with a fourth, yet-to-be-named vessel, scheduled for delivery in 2028.
