Germany’s leading cruise travel company AIDA Cruises will once again serve as the primary sponsor of one of the world’s largest maritime events, scheduled for August 8 to 11, 2024.
The event will see two of AIDA’s vessels, AIDAmar and AIDAdiva, dock in Warnemunde (Rostock, Germany) on Friday and Saturday, offering a prominent presence during the festivities.
Ashore, AIDA Cruises will showcase its vacation offerings at two key locations within the city harbor. Spanning 600+ square meters (~6460 ft2), the AIDA experience will be featured on the Haedge peninsula and the silo terraces adjacent to AIDA Cruises’ corporate headquarters. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for a chance to win an EUR 3,000 travel voucher, adding excitement to the event.
At the Haedge peninsula, guests can immerse themselves in a maritime atmosphere with views of traditional sailing vessels from around the globe. The setup will include refreshments, ice cream, and live music provided by AIDAradio, creating a relaxing vacation ambiance. Additionally, the AIDAperla show cabin will be open for tours, allowing potential travelers to explore their future home at sea. On-site experts will be available to provide information about AIDA's diverse offerings and to assist with booking upcoming voyages. For a lasting memory, the AIDA kiss stop will offer the perfect backdrop for a Hanse Sail selfie.
The AIDA vacation experience at Rostock will be open daily from 10:00 a.m., with extended hours until 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, midnight on Friday and Saturday, and until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
