Explora Journeys, the luxury ocean travel brand of the MSC Group, has announced that in 2025, its newest ship EXPLORA II will be docked at Monaco’s Port Hercule during the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO.
Positioned just 150 meters from the racetrack, the luxurious vessel will serve as a luxury boutique hotel at sea throughout race week, offering an unparalleled experience for guests.
EXPLORA II will host a series of exclusive themed events, catering to the prestigious crowd that the Monaco Grand Prix attracts. Guests will enjoy luxurious accommodations with private oceanfront terraces, a selection of eleven gourmet dining options, premium beverages, high-speed Wi-Fi, and wellness facilities, all within close proximity to the thrilling F1 action.
This move builds on MSC Cruises’ multi-year partnership with FORMULA 1, which began in 2022. The collaboration, aimed at merging the worlds of luxury ocean travel and global motorsport, allows MSC to showcase its offerings to a wider audience while enhancing the experience of F1 enthusiasts.
