CCL-Carnival reveals 2026-2027 cruise plans with new European and Alaska itineraries

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled the initial phase of its 2026-2027 deployment plans, starting with summer 2026 sailings to highly sought-after destinations in Europe and Alaska. Among the highlights is a special solar eclipse cruise, a first for Carnival, offering guests a unique celestial experience at sea.

Reservations for these new summer 2026 sailings in Europe and Alaska are now open.

European Itineraries with Carnival Legend. Carnival Legend will embark on an 11-day Eclipse Cruise from Dover, England, on August 9, 2026. This voyage includes stops in Spain, Portugal, and France, coinciding with a total solar eclipse on August 12, providing an exceptional viewing opportunity at sea. The itinerary includes ports such as Le Havre-Paris, France; Vigo, Spain; Lisbon, Portugal; and Zeebrugge-Brussels, Belgium. Carnival Legend's European season begins with a 14-day transatlantic voyage from Miami to Dover, followed by 9 cruises from Dover ranging from 9 to 12 days. These itineraries will explore Northern Europe, including destinations like Copenhagen and Amsterdam, as well as the British Isles, Scandinavia, and the Baltic region. Additionally, the ship will offer sailings from Civitavecchia-Rome to iconic destinations in Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia. The European season concludes with a 14-day Transatlantic crossing from Rome to Tampa Florida in November 2026, with stops in Spain, Gibraltar, and Bermuda.

Alaskan Itineraries from Seattle. Carnival Spirit and Carnival Miracle will both operate from Seattle during the summer of 2026, offering 7-day Alaska cruises. These itineraries include cruising Tracy Arm Fjord and visits to Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, Alaska, as well as Victoria, British Columbia. Special Carnival Journeys sailings aboard Carnival Miracle include a 9-day cruise through the Inside Passage with an additional stop in Sitka, Alaska, and a 10-day voyage that also visits Icy Strait Point, Alaska. Carnival Spirit will also offer a 15-day round-trip Carnival Journeys cruise to Hawaii, departing Seattle in September 2026.

Panama Canal Repositioning Cruises (RepositionCruises.com). 4 Carnival Journeys cruises will transit the Panama Canal, repositioning Carnival Miracle and Carnival Spirit before and after the Alaskan season. These include stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; and Cartagena, Colombia. Notably, these will be the first Carnival cruises connecting Seattle with Mobile, Alabama.
