Viking has unveiled 6 new itineraries in Asia, set to commence in 2025, that will offer guests enhanced access to Japan and China, including Tibet (Xizang). These voyages, ranging from 15 to 22 days, will explore key destinations such as Shanghai, Beijing, Xian, Lhasa Tibet (Xizang), and Osaka (Japan).
The new itineraries will feature exclusive access to rarely-seen ports and destinations in China, available only to Viking guests. Each voyage is designed to provide immersive, destination-focused experiences, enriched by insightful lectures and regionally inspired cuisine. Bookings are now open for these itineraries, which will be operated from September 2025 to November 2025 on the Viking Yi Dun ship/fka Viking Sun from the Viking OCEAN's fleet.

To further enhance the Asian experience, Viking offers a range of pre- and post-cruise land extensions for its 2025 China itineraries. These extensions include stays in key locations such as Beijing, Hong Kong, Guilin, Mongolia, and Tokyo, providing guests with deeper cultural immersion.
Specifically dedicated to exploring China, the Viking Yi Dun offers an onboard experience designed to complement the rich discoveries made ashore. The vessel features 465 staterooms, accommodating 930 guests, and boasts all-veranda staterooms, Scandinavian-inspired design, light-filled public spaces, and plentiful al fresco dining options.
