Officials from the Arabian Gulf welcomed Resorts World Cruises' upcoming deployment in the region during a media event in Dubai UAE. As previously announced, the Resorts World One ship will operate in the Arabian Gulf from November to April with homeporting in Dubai.
Starting November 1st, the ship will sail from DP World’s Mina Port Rashid in Dubai, offering a series of short itineraries. These include 2-night weekend cruises to Sir Bani Yas departing on Fridays, 3-night cruises to Khasab and Muscat in Oman on Sundays, and 2-night cruises to Doha (Qatar) on Wednesdays.
During Qatar’s school holidays from October 24th to November 2nd, Resorts World One will also use Doha as a homeport. The vessel will receive the official OIC/SMIIC Standard Halal-Friendly Cruise Ship certification, ensuring Muslim passengers can enjoy certified halal cuisine, with meats sourced from UAE halal suppliers. Additional onboard features include same-gender services at select venues, as well as certified vegetarian and Jain cuisine. Shisha (hookah) will also be available. Public announcements will be made in both English and Arabic.
The November 1st launch coincides with Diwali, a major festival in India and across Asia, expected to draw interest from the expatriate community and fly-cruise travelers visiting Dubai.
