The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has successfully floated out its 3rd superyacht, Luminara, at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique/STX France shipyard in Saint-Nazaire. This significant step marks Luminara’s initial contact with water, signaling the commencement of the final construction phase ahead of her projected debut in July 2025.
Following the float-out, the vessel was transferred to an outfitting dock where work will continue on the yacht’s interiors, including the completion of guest suites, dining venues, and other public spaces.
Luminara is scheduled to embark on her maiden voyage in the Mediterranean next summer, before sailing to Asia-Pacific destinations as part of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s first itineraries in the region.
Jim Murren, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection said "the float out ceremony is a testament to the unwavering dedication and craftsmanship of everyone involved in the construction of Luminara."
“Our ongoing collaboration with the team at Chantiers de l’Atlantique has been invaluable. With three yachts soon in the water, we remain committed to delivering exceptional journeys at sea, setting new standards in luxury cruising with unparalleled amenities and service.”
