Oceania Cruises, renowned for its focus on culinary excellence and immersive destination experiences, will offer a series of in-depth explorations of Alaska in 2025.
For the first time, the 1250-passenger ship Riviera will sail in Alaska, bringing a unique blend of gourmet dining and small-ship luxury to the region. The Riviera - the first ship in Alaska designed specifically for food enthusiasts - will sail between May and September, featuring itineraries ranging from 7 to 12 days. Guests will visit both iconic and less-traveled destinations such as Homer, Sitka, Juneau, and more, providing an authentic look into Alaska's wilderness, native culture, and stunning natural beauty.
Each voyage will be accompanied by a naturalist offering expert commentary on the diverse Alaskan wildlife, from whales to bears, enhancing the journey through "The Last Frontier." The cruises will also offer a family-friendly experience with Oceania’s Alaska Explorer Youth Program, designed to engage children aged 5 to 12 with games, educational activities, and special Alaska-themed events.
Travelers can further expand their Alaska experience with pre- or post-cruise land tours, including the Discover Denali program. This land extension takes guests on a fully guided journey through Denali National Park, where they’ll have 2 full days to explore North America’s highest peak, spot wildlife, and travel by scenic railcars.
Onboard Riviera, passengers will enjoy luxurious accommodations and spacious staterooms, all newly reimagined with refined touches and expanded amenities. With a culinary focus that sets the ship apart, Riviera boasts 7 gourmet restaurants, including specialty venues such as Polo Grill, Toscana, Red Ginger, and Jacques.
