Aqua Expeditions has announced its expansion into East Africa with new luxury expedition voyages to the Seychelles and Zanzibar Tanzania, set to begin in December 2025.
This expansion will see the addition of a 6th vessel to the company's fleet, marking a notable development in its offerings.
Founder and CEO Francesco Galli Zugaro expressed his long-held ambition to explore this region aboard a luxury expedition ship.
While details of the new vessel remain undisclosed, Aqua Expeditions confirmed it will maintain its hallmark 1-to-1 crew-to-guest ratio and feature small-group excursions guided by experts.
The itineraries will include 5- and 9-night cruises in the Seychelles, which can be combined for a 14-night B2B, as well as 10- and 11-night sailings covering both the Seychelles and Zanzibar archipelagos.
Passengers will have the opportunity to explore key ecological sites such as Aldabra, Cosmoledo, Astove, Furquhar Atoll, Kilwa Kisiwani, and Pemba, as well as the remote African Banks, the northernmost uninhabited islands of the Seychelles.
