DCL-Disney Cruise Line's ship Disney Dream has entered drydock at Damen Shiprepair Brest (France) for an extensive month-long refurbishment. The ship will undergo significant upgrades in preparation for its winter season in 2024-2025.

Among the new features being added is Donald's Cantina, a new dining venue on Deck 11. Additionally, a luxurious Dream Tower Suite will be installed within the forward funnel, themed around the classic Disney film Fantasia, in tribute to the character depicted on the stern.

A new Concierge Lounge will also be introduced, inspired by the Disney film Hercules and featuring a design reminiscent of Mount Olympus. The ship's spa facilities will be upgraded, including a refreshed check-in area and additional treatment rooms.

The renovation will also bring updates to youth areas. The Edge club for tweens (ages 11-14) will move to Deck 5 and feature new amenities, including an outdoor deck with a ball pit, recreational games, and a dedicated lounge for events. Younger passengers (ages 3-10) will be able to enjoy a new Marvel-themed attraction at the Oceaneer Club.

These enhancements will debut ahead of Disney Dream's winter program.

Following the refurbishment, the ship will embark on a 13-day Transatlantic UK-USA voyage (from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale/RepositionCruises.com) before beginning her winter Caribbean season on October 20th.
