CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has provided a detailed preview of the food and beverage offerings that will be available at its upcoming exclusive destination, Celebration Key, set to open in Grand Bahama in July 2025. The new port will feature 30+ dining and drinking venues, offering a diverse range of cuisine, including Bahamian specialties, beachside classics, seafood, barbecue, and more.
Key highlights include 4 full-service restaurants, a food hall, 9 food trucks, snack shacks, and 12 bars. Dining options will range from casual, grab-and-go meals to waterfront dining experiences. Mingo’s Tropical Bar & Kitchen, located at Calypso Lagoon, will offer Bahamian favorites such as conch fritters and fried fish, alongside classic burgers and seafood dishes. Guests seeking quicker options can visit Mingo’s Express food truck for items like hamburgers and salads.
At Surf N’ Sauce BBQ & Brews, guests will enjoy slow-smoked meats prepared in an outdoor smoker, accompanied by a variety of sauces and sides. The restaurant will also feature craft beers from local Bahamian breweries. For seafood lovers, Gill’s Grill at Starfish Lagoon will specialize in Caribbean seafood, offering dishes like lobster, steamed crab, and shrimp, as well as family-friendly options such as burgers and chicken.
The Captain’s Galley Food Hall will provide a quick and varied dining experience, with outlets serving pizza, fried chicken, tacos, Mediterranean bowls, and more. Food trucks and snack shacks scattered throughout the destination will offer beachside classics like conch fritters, hot dogs, wraps, and refreshing drinks.
Among the many bars, the in-lagoon Long Necks Bar at Calypso Lagoon will offer guests a swim-up bar experience with seating for 100.
