MSC Cruises will introduce a new culinary experience at sea with the launch of MSC World America in April 2025, featuring the first-ever Eataly restaurant aboard a cruise ship. The collaboration with Eataly, known for its authentic Italian food and wine, is part of the vessel's diverse dining offerings, which blend MSC’s European elegance with a focus on the American market.
The MSC World America, which will be homeported in PortMiami Florida USA and deployed in the Caribbean, is designed to provide maximum dining variety with 19 venues. These include 4 main restaurants, 2 relaxed buffet options, and several specialty dining experiences. Highlights include:
Eataly at Sea
The new Eataly restaurant aboard MSC World America will showcase the finest in Italian cuisine, with a menu featuring iconic dishes and exclusive onboard offerings. Guests can expect a curated selection of ingredients sourced from Italian suppliers, freshly prepared pasta, and a dining environment that reflects Italian tradition. The open kitchen will allow guests to witness the food preparation process, enhancing the dining experience.
Specialty Dining Concepts
In addition to Eataly, the ship will host 5 specialty restaurants, including established favorites like Kaito Sushi Bar, Kaito Teppanyaki, Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, and Hola! Tacos & Cantina. New to the lineup is Paxos Greek Restaurant, offering fresh Mediterranean seafood, al fresco dining options, and a rooftop lounge for cocktails and small plates. Guests can enjoy traditional Greek dishes such as mezes, moussaka, and lamb kleftiko, accompanied by live music during dinner.
Dining on the Go
For travelers seeking quick bites, MSC World America will introduce 5 fast-casual concepts. These include:
- Paxos on the Go: Offering authentic Greek street food like souvlaki and fritto misto in the Promenade district.
- Promenade Bites: Serving American street food classics such as hotdogs and street corn.
- The Harbour Bar & Bites: Featuring snacks like empanadas and burritos in the Family Aventura district.
- La Boca Grill: A pizza spot in the Aqua Deck district.
- Luna Park Pizza & Burger: Offering American favorites in the Galleria district throughout the day and late into the night.
On all itineraries, MSC World America will visit MSC Ocean Cay, MSC’s private Bahamian island.
