The Port of San Diego (California, USA) has officially commenced its 2024-2025 cruise season in partnership with longtime homeport operator HAL-Holland America Line.

This season will feature 75 voyages and is expected to welcome ~265,000 passengers by the season's conclusion in the spring. The schedule includes well-established cruise lines such as Holland America, DCL-Disney Cruise Line, Princess, Viking, and Silversea. Notably, this season will see inaugural calls from the Viking Neptune and Viking Sea.

As California’s gateway to the Mexican Riviera, the Port of San Diego also offers sailings to popular destinations such as Hawaii, the Panama Canal, and along the Pacific Coast. With its proximity to Mexico, the port enables quicker access to adventure in Mexican destinations. One of the season’s highlights is Holland America’s 51-day South Pacific voyage, the longest sailing of the year.

Ranked as California’s third-busiest cruise port, following Long Beach and Los Angeles, San Diego operates two cruise terminals on B Street and Broadway Piers, conveniently located in the city’s North Embarcadero. These terminals provide easy access to regional attractions such as the USS Midway Museum, the Maritime Museum, Seaport Village, and numerous waterfront hotels and restaurants. Visitors can also explore nearby historic neighborhoods, including Little Italy and the Gaslamp Quarter.
