VIVA Cruises (fleet), a European river cruise specialist, is elevating its offerings with the launch of its new VIVA Boutique product, designed to provide a premium river cruising experience. Leading this initiative is VIVA BEYOND, the operator’s first boutique river ship, set to debut in May 2026 on the Seine. This boutique concept blends the personalized feel of a luxury hotel with the diverse experiences of a river cruise, aiming to offer guests an immersive and exclusive voyage both onboard and ashore.
VIVA BEYOND, a member of the Scylla shipping fleet, will undergo extensive renovations in early 2026 to align with VIVA Cruises’ new premium brand. The vessel will accommodate 116 passengers and feature more suites than any other ship in the fleet, including master suites offering exclusive benefits such as in-room breakfast, seasonal culinary delicacies, and a personal aperitif with the captain and hotel manager. The ship will also house a high-quality wellness area, equipped with modern fitness facilities and spa services, ensuring relaxation and comfort for all guests.
The ship’s maiden voyage will be an 8-day round trip from Paris to the Atlantic coast via Normandy, with a focus on French culture and art. Guests will enjoy themed shore excursions, including two centered on "Impressionism," exploring the works of artists like van Gogh and Monet. VIVA BEYOND will offer a comprehensive all-inclusive experience, with 3 first-class restaurants, including MOMENTS, known for its culinary excellence. Guests will also have access to signature French delicacies and curated shore excursions, combining fine dining with cultural discovery.
The VIVA Boutique product includes specially designed shore excursions focused on 3 main themes: Impressionism, Culture & Lifestyle, and Culinary. Each tour will give travelers a unique opportunity to engage with France’s artistic, cultural, and culinary heritage. Highlights include visits to iconic sites such as Chateau Gaillard and the Renaissance-era La Roche-Guyon.
Evenings onboard will be filled with entertainment, featuring live jazz and swing music, with a standout performance of "Paris Petille" by singer Titi Parisien, celebrating the musical heritage of Paris. VIVA BEYOND aims to redefine boutique river cruising by offering an intimate, culturally rich, and luxurious experience.
