Crew member dies during safety drill in Cozumel on Margaritaville Islander

A crew member aboard Margaritaville Islander tragically passed away during a routine emergency drill while the vessel was docked in Cozumel (Mexico).

The individual, an Indonesian national and part of the AB Deck Department, was found unresponsive on deck after sustaining fatal injuries during the lowering of a lifeboat.

This marked the crew member's first contract with Margaritaville at Sea. Described by colleagues as a humble and friendly individual, his passing has deeply affected the crew.

The company extended heartfelt condolences to his family and fellow crew members, recognizing the profound impact of losing a valued team member at sea.
