Oceanwide Expeditions, a leading operator in the polar expedition cruise industry for 30+ years, has announced the introduction of complimentary onboard internet access for guests, starting with its Antarctica 2024-2025 season.
Beginning with the 2024-2025 Antarctic season, guests will benefit from free daily internet access throughout their expedition, allowing them to stay connected, share images and videos, and enhance their experience. Upon boarding, passengers will receive a voucher providing 1.5 GB of free internet per day, valid for the entire journey. For those requiring additional connectivity, supplementary internet vouchers will be available for purchase onboard.
This upgrade will apply to all motor vessels in Oceanwide Expeditions’ fleet, including mv Hondius, mv Plancius, and mv Ortelius. The new internet policy will take effect from October 18th, 2024, with the start of the 2024-2025 Antarctic season, and will continue across future voyages in both Antarctica and the Arctic, enhancing the onboard experience for all guests.
