China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Weihai) delivered Saint-Malo, a new Ro-Pax ferry commissioned by Sweden's Stena RoRo for operation by Brittany Ferries.

The vessel, measuring 195 m (640 ft) in length and 28 m (92 ft) in width, is one of three E-Flexer-class ships designed by the Finnish naval architecture firm Deltamarin, built in accordance with DNV class rules, including Safe Return to Port (SRTP) regulations.

Saint-Malo's capacity is 1310 passengers and 2521 lanemeters of freight. It is powered by LNG dual-fuel engines and features a battery hybrid system with shore charging capability, significantly reducing emissions. The vessel will operate on battery power when entering and leaving ports.

Among the passenger amenities, the ship offers 28 pet-friendly cabins. Additional onboard features include an art gallery and an exclusive lounge for premium passengers.

Saint-Malo and the sistership Guillaume de Normandie are under charter by Brittany Ferries (from STENA RORO) to serve the UK-France routes between Portsmouth and Ouistreham/Caen and Saint-Malo.
