Following a successful deployment in 2024, Resorts World Cruises will return to homeport Keelung Taiwan China with Resorts World One ship from April 30th to November 9th, 2025, effectively doubling the cruise capacity offered in the previous year. The 1,800-passenger ship will offer a mix of popular and new itineraries to Japan, with 3-, 4-, and 6-day cruises to Okinawa and the main islands of Kyushu, Honshu, and Shikoku.

A significant highlight for the 2025 season is Resorts World One's status as the first cruise line to depart Keelung on Sundays, with 15 sailings for the 6-day Osaka (via Wakayama)-Kochi Cruise, aligning with the World Expo 2025 Osaka. The expo, running until October 13th, 2025, is expected to attract 28 million visitors under the theme "Designing Future Society for Our Lives." Cruise guests will have the option to participate in shore excursions with pre-arranged entry to the 155-hectare expo site. During peak holiday periods in July and August, all cruises will visit Osaka and Kochi, offering families a chance to explore exhibits from 161 countries at the expo. Shore excursions to Kyoto and Wakayama will also be available, with attractions like the UNESCO-listed Koyasan, Wakayama Castle, and the region's famed onsens (hot springs).

In Shikoku, Kochi city is featured as a hidden gem, with the Shimanto River Valley being a notable highlight. Guests can also visit Kochi Castle, Chikurin-ji Temple, and indulge in local cuisine, including the famed Katsuo no Tataki, seared bonito fish.

Resorts World Cruises will also reintroduce popular itineraries from Keelung to Okinawa and Kyushu, with 8 sailings for the 6-Day Cruise to Kumamoto, Kagoshima, and Naha, and the 6-Day Nagasaki-Kagoshima-Naha Cruise. Additionally, the 4-day Okinawa Cruises will visit Naha and Miyakojima, while shorter 3-day cruises to Ishigaki or Miyakojima will provide ideal weekend getaways.

With these new itineraries, Resorts World Cruises anticipates an increase in inbound Fly-Cruise passengers from across Asia, combining a stay in Taiwan with 3-, 4-, 6-, or 8-day cruises to Japan. Guests will also enjoy the enhanced Balcony Class, offering priority check-in, welcome drinks, onboard privileges, and additional amenities, including Beverage Onboard Credits and Standard Wi-Fi.
