TUI River Cruises is set to expand its fleet in the summer of 2026 with the introduction of TUI Ria, a newly refurbished vessel designed for enhanced river cruising experiences.
TUI Ria will offer a range of 6- to 9-night itineraries along the Rhine and Moselle rivers, departing from key ports such as Amsterdam, Basel, and Frankfurt.
TUI Ria is TUI's 4th riverboat, joining the fleetmates TUI Isla, TUI Maya, and TUI Skyla.
With a capacity of 190 passengers (96 staterooms), TUI Ria will be TUI's largest boat.
The ship will feature several new amenities, including a pool with panoramic views, a sauna, sun loungers, a putting green, and a shuffleboard area on the upper deck. Uniquely, the pool will have a retractable roof for year-round use, and its floor will raise to convert the space into a dining and entertainment area during the evenings.
TUI Ria will be designed with modern interiors, incorporating a variety of dining venues, lounges, and entertainment spaces. The boat's launch follows TUI's growing success, reflecting a 17% year-on-year increase in bookings.
Katy Berzins, head of TUI River Cruises said they are thrilled to be expanding their fleet with the addition of the latest ship to sail the European waterways.
“This marks another significant step in the growth of TUI River Cruises, following our second newly refurbished ship announcement in just one month. TUI Ria will provide more customers than ever the opportunity to explore Europe’s stunning rivers, offering new routes and alternatives.”
