Princess Cruises has introduced new features for Star Princess, the second Sphere-Class ship set to launch in fall 2025.

As a sistership to the Sun Princess, currently sailing the Caribbean, Star Princess will present several enhancements, including non-smoking casino areas, expanded dining venues, and leisure experiences, elevating her status within the fleet. The 4,300-guest, 178,000-ton vessel is powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), aligning with the brand's sustainability goals. Reflecting the sleek, modern design of Sun Princess, Star Princess will feature cutting-edge architectural highlights such as The Dome, the first geodesic dome at sea, and The Sphere, a striking glass-enclosed Piazza at the ship's center.

New Features on Star Princess Include:

  • Expanded Non-Smoking Casino Areas: An additional 68 slot machines will cater to guests who prefer a smoke-free gaming environment.
  • O'Malley's Irish Pub Expansion: With 32 extra seats, this venue will accommodate more guests enjoying Irish cuisine, live music, and a selection of beers and whiskeys.
  • Enhanced Love by Britto: An art-inspired dining venue, this collaboration between artist Romero Britto and Chef Rudi Sodamin will offer 20 more seats for its 7-course fusion menu.
  • SkyDeck Sports Court & Track: Active passengers can engage in pickleball, basketball, or use the jogging track, splash pad, and shaded relaxation spaces.

With 2,157 staterooms, including 80 suites, 123 mini-suites, over 1,000 balcony cabins, and 100 connecting rooms, Star Princess provides a range of accommodations to suit every traveler.

The Sanctuary Collection, available to guests in suites, mini-suites, and deluxe balcony cabins, offers exclusive access to the ship's retreat area, private dining, relaxation spaces, and the Princess Premier package, adding a luxurious dimension to the all-inclusive experience.

After her inaugural season in the Caribbean, Star Princess will reposition to Alaska in spring 2026, offering exceptional voyages to this renowned destination. Bookings for Star Princess are now available.
