RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises has officially commenced construction of its newest ship - Seven Seas Prestige, scheduled for delivery in 2026.
The vessel's steel-cutting ceremony took place at Fincantieri's -Marghera shipyard in Venice, with key figures from both RSSC and the shipowner/parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings in attendance, including Andrea DeMarco, President of Regent, Harry Sommer, President and CEO of NCLH, and Luigi Matarazzo, General Manager of Fincantieri’s Merchant Ships Division.
Seven Seas Prestige will be a landmark addition to Regent’s fleet, boasting a gross tonnage of 77,000 and accommodating up to 850 guests. This design emphasizes an impressive guest-to-space ratio, offering some of the most spacious environments at sea. The ship will also feature innovations, including a reimagined Regent Suite, new accommodation categories, and enhanced dining options, reinforcing Regent’s commitment to offering The Most Inclusive Luxury Experience.
Seven Seas Prestige is the first of Regent's two PRESTIGE-Class vessels, the company's first new ship class in a decade, following the successful EXPLORER-Class units also constructed by Fincantieri.
The ship will sail to 550+ destinations worldwide, providing guests with an all-inclusive luxury cruise experience. This includes unlimited shore excursions, gourmet dining, premium beverages, daily replenished in-suite mini-bars, valet laundry, access to spa facilities, entertainment, and more.
Additionally, guests will have the option to upgrade to the Ultimate All-Inclusive Fare, which offers flights in various classes, transfers, and Blacklane private executive chauffeur services, allowing them to personalize their journeys further.
