On April 9th, 2025, TUI Cruises will celebrate the christening of Mein Schiff Relax, the first vessel of its innovative InTUItion class, in Malaga (Spain). This event marks a distinctive occasion as guests from 3 ships - Mein Schiff 5, Mein Schiff 7, and Mein Schiff Relax - will share in the christening at the Port of Malaga, marking a new approach in cruise christening ceremonies.
Robbie Williams, celebrated artist and wellness ambassador for Mein Schiff Relax, will join guests from all 3 ships to commemorate the occasion. TUI notes that the vessel’s unique wellness-focused concept inspired Williams to become the ship's ambassador, further elevating this extraordinary event.
The arrival of Schiff 5, Schiff 7, and Schiff Relax in Malaga on April 9th will offer guests a shared celebration of TUI Cruises' newest addition.
Mein Schiff Relax promises a fresh approach to wellness travel, complete with new amenities designed for an elevated guest experience. Culinary highlights include the Asian restaurant Fugu, led by Berlin’s renowned chef Tim Raue, and the vessel introduces single balcony cabins tailored for solo travelers. The onboard spa offerings are enhanced with features such as an exclusive barrel sauna with expansive sea views.
Following her christening, Mein Schiff Relax will launch her maiden summer season with Mediterranean itineraries from Palma de Mallorca and will spend the winter season around the Canary Islands.
