TUI Cruises has announced that its newest ship - Mein Schiff Flow, the second vessel in the InTUItion class, will join the fleet in 2026. The unit is currently under construction in Monfalcone Italy.
A sistership to the Mein Schiff Relax, Mein Schiff Flow will cater to ~4000 guests, emphasizing an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation aimed at offering passengers a reprieve from daily pressures.
According to Wybcke Meier (TUI's CEO), the Fincantieri-built vessel reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its fleet to meet the rising demand for cruises focused on relaxation and experience. The newbuild will contribute to a projected 60% increase in TUI’s fleet capacity within 3 years, marking significant growth for the Hamburg-based company.
TUI continues to prioritize environmental responsibility with the Mein Schiff Flow, equipping the vessel with LNG propulsion to significantly lower sulfur, nitrogen oxide, and carbon dioxide emissions. The ship will feature advanced catalytic converters and shore power connections to minimize emissions during dockings. In line with TUI’s sustainability goals, Mein Schiff Flow is also designed for future compatibility with bio-LNG and e-LNG, advancing the cruise line’s efforts toward climate-neutral operations.
The Mein Schiff Flow promises a refined experience focused on well-being and relaxation, where passengers can fully disconnect and embrace a slower pace of life. The ship’s design incorporates open, light-filled spaces and carefully crafted cabins to foster a sense of comfort and freedom, creating an onboard ambiance that encourages passengers to unwind and find balance.
