Hurtigruten Expeditions (HX) has launched “HX Explorers,” its first dedicated loyalty program designed to reward both experienced adventurers and new travelers. HX Explorers offers exclusive benefits across 2 levels: Level 1 for members preparing for their first voyage and Level 2 for those who have sailed three nights or more, providing special rates and a sense of community among travelers who value immersive exploration.
The program delivers a variety of rewards and experiences, including exclusive rates on HX offerings and select sustainable partner brands, such as CEWE, Waterhaul, and Ocean Bottles. Additional highlights include:
- Exclusive Partner Rewards – Members enjoy discounts on CEWE photo products, including a co-branded HX x CEWE photobook for documenting their journeys.
- Onboard Loyalty Manager – A dedicated Loyalty Manager is available on each expedition to enhance members' experience.
- Welcome Cocktail – A signature loyalty cocktail awaits members upon embarkation, fostering connections among fellow HX Explorers.

To celebrate the program’s launch and HX’s 130th anniversary in 2026, members booking voyages through the end of 2026 will receive commemorative badges upon embarkation. These badges commemorate HX’s historic 1896 “Sportsman Route” expedition from Hammerfest to Spitsbergen in Svalbard aboard DS Lofoten, a journey that pioneered Arctic exploration by kayak and introduced the adventure-minded spirit that HX still upholds today.
