Crystal Cruises has unveiled the Casino de Monte-Carlo at sea, marking its debut aboard Crystal Symphony during a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Venice on the inaugural night of the Chairmen’s Cruise.

This innovation represents the first partnership between Crystal Cruises and Monte-Carlo Societe des Bains de Mer (SBM), bringing the distinguished ambiance of Monaco’s famed gaming institution to the maritime world.

The Casino de Monte-Carlo will expand to Crystal Serenity on December 18th, 2024, during its voyage from Fort Lauderdale FL, and will eventually feature on all Crystal’s oceangoing vessels, excluding its expedition ships. On Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, the new casino replaces the former Bridge Lounges.

Occupying 1,000+ square feet, the gaming space aboard Crystal Symphony includes 29 slot machines and three live gaming tables, while Crystal Serenity will host 32 slot machines and 3 live tables. Guests can enjoy a range of gaming options, including Blackjack, American Roulette, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. The casino’s design, overseen by SBM, mirrors the elegance of the original Casino de Monte-Carlo, further enhanced by premium drink offerings such as specialty cocktails and a curated selection of international wines.

Crystal Cruises has emphasized that the Casino de Monte-Carlo was developed in response to guest feedback requesting onboard gaming. By partnering with SBM, the cruise line aimed to create a gaming experience that reflects the sophistication and exclusivity associated with Monte Carlo.
