Oceania Cruises commemorates the 15th anniversary of its innovative Culinary Center, the first hands-on cooking school at sea, by introducing an expanded array of culinary classes for 2025 and beyond.

Launched alongside the debut of Marina in 2010, Oceania Cruises’ Culinary Center has become a hallmark feature on 4 of the fleet's ships: Marina, Riviera, Vista, and the upcoming Allura, set to join the line in summer 2025.

To celebrate this milestone, the Culinary Center has unveiled new classes that spotlight regional cuisines from the Pacific Northwest, Polynesia, and Australia, enriching its portfolio of over 60 immersive courses. Held in state-of-the-art teaching kitchens, the classes are equipped with individual cooking stations and professional-grade tools, allowing guests to delve into global culinary traditions or refine fundamental cooking techniques.

Each class is guided by a team of seasoned Culinary Center Chef Instructors, whose combined expertise spans decades. Among their ranks are professionals with diverse backgrounds, including a former executive assistant to Julia Child, chefs who have led culinary programs for major television productions such as Sesame Street and 30 Rock, and leaders of food initiatives for companies like Google and Amazon.

The Culinary Center instructors bring world-class credentials, with graduates from institutions such as The Culinary Institute of America, Le Cordon Bleu, and Boston University’s esteemed gastronomy program. Guests aboard Oceania Cruises are assured a unique opportunity to learn from industry veterans, blending culinary artistry with a rich understanding of food culture and history.

The Culinary Center continues to offer an enriching and educational way for travelers to engage with global gastronomy, marking its place as a signature experience for food enthusiasts at sea.
